Coinbase a déclaré que cette transaction marque la première fois qu'un emprunteur donne du Bitcoin en gage pour garantir un prêt soutenu par Fannie Mae. Le couple a finalisé la clôture récemment, selon le communiqué de l'entreprise. La structure du prêt hypothécaire avait été annoncée pour la première fois par Coinbase et Better Home & Finance en mars. Cela survient alors que les agences de régulation américaines ont adopté des politiques plus favorables aux cryptomonnaies sous l'administration actuelle.
