The fourth-year tight end recalled his best season to date last year, catching 31 passes for 364 yards and one touchdown on 43 targets. Rodgers has publicly praised Washington and compared him to Marcedes Lewis for his contributions beyond receiving.
Rodgers has said the upcoming season will be his last in the NFL. Washington signed a multi-year contract extension and expects to keep working closely with the quarterback on details like pressures and checks.
