Four Örebro residents named Person of the Year after stopping rape

Emma, Theo, Pontus and Agnes have been named this year's Örebro residents for interrupting a rape in Oskarsparken.

The four friends were walking through the central park late on a Saturday night when they heard cries for help. They intervened and stopped the ongoing attack.

Pontus Seiko, one of the four, commented on the intervention. He said they did the right thing but that it was a given to act.

Nerikes Allehanda has previously reported on the incident that occurred on a cold autumn night. The four are now being honored for their courage.
