Le député d'État Guilherme Cortez, du PSOL, annoncera aujourd'hui sa pré-candidature à la Chambre des députés fédéraux.

À 28 ans, Cortez est présenté par son parti comme un pari pour reconnecter la gauche avec les jeunes électeurs. Il est l'une des principales voix de l'opposition au gouverneur Tarcísio de Freitas à l'Assemblée législative de l'État de São Paulo.

En mars, le député a mené une caravane dans des écoles et des universités pour débattre des défis de la génération Z. Cortez a affirmé que les jeunes sont lassés de la politique traditionnelle et que l'extrême droite a su exploiter cette frustration via les réseaux sociaux.
