Hållander teams up with Gynge for goal scoring work

Filip Hållander has started summer training with former SHL scorer Richard Gynge to sharpen his offensive skills ahead of the next NHL season.

The former Timrå forward contacted Gynge after learning about his work with players across Sweden. Their first joint summer focuses on ice sessions, video analysis and shot exercises.

Gynge, who scored more than 200 goals in the SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan before retiring in 2024, described the approach as a craft built on details. He noted that the pair also works on the mental side of the game.

Gynge said the collaboration began this year and that Hållander reached out once he knew about the development program. The 39-year-old has run the business since ending his playing career two years ago.
