Henrik Malmström signs two-year contract with Östersund

Defenseman Henrik Malmström has joined Östersund on a two-year deal after leaving Västerås. The 27-year-old brings defensive experience and leadership to the HockeyAllsvenskan club.

The move marks Malmström's fourth team in the league. He previously played for Södertälje, Västervik and Västerås, where he recorded two assists in 42 regular-season games last year plus one goal in the qualification series against Troja-Ljungby.
