Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have donated 200 million won ($139,000) to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul to support patients in financial need. Hyun Bin's agency, VAST Entertainment, announced the contribution on Tuesday, noting the couple's hope that it "would be helpful, even in the slightest bit, to patients and their families." This is their latest charitable act.

Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin donated 200 million won ($139,000) to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul to aid patients facing financial difficulties, according to VAST Entertainment, Hyun Bin's agency, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

The couple stated that they hope the donation "would be helpful, even in the slightest bit, to patients and their families."

This contribution follows their earlier donations of 150 million won each to Seoul Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center, respectively, to support pediatric patients' treatments.

In November, Hyun Bin received the Best Actor award at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards for his role as independence fighter Ahn Jung-geun (1879-1910) in the period drama "Harbin." His wife, Son Ye-jin, was honored with Best Actress for her performance in Park Chan-wook's "No Other Choice."

The donation highlights the couple's ongoing commitment to philanthropy amid their successful careers in entertainment.
