Jane Fonda et Patti Smith en tête d'affiche d'un concert pour le premier amendement

Une brochette d'artistes se réunira le mois prochain à New York pour un concert en soutien au premier amendement. L'événement mettra en vedette plusieurs personnalités éminentes du cinéma, de la musique et des médias, qui interviendront par des performances et des prises de parole.

Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Rufus Wainwright, Bette Midler, Joy Reid, Sasha Allen et le groupe Broadway Inspirational Voices sont annoncés à l'affiche de Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment. Ce spectacle de 90 minutes aura lieu le 14 juin à New York et sera diffusé gratuitement en direct en ligne à partir de 19h30 (heure de l'Est). Les bénéfices seront reversés au Committee for the First Amendment, que Jane Fonda a aidé à relancer en 2025 sous la seconde administration Trump. Des soirées de visionnage sont également prévues dans plusieurs villes du pays.
