Former NFL players Jarvis Landry and Leonard Fournette praised Aaron Rodgers and his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates for taking a bonding trip together. The comments came during a podcast appearance on Wednesday. Both former players believe the outing could help the team.
Aaron Rodgers, who plans to retire after the 2026 season, joined several Steelers on the recent trip. The group aimed to build chemistry ahead of the upcoming season.
Leonard Fournette called the effort positive during his appearance on the 4th and South podcast. “I think that’s great,” Fournette said. “I would love to see [Rodgers] go out on top with a ring.”
Jarvis Landry echoed the view and noted potential on-field benefits. “I also think it could be a momentum boost for the back end of his career to be sharing these moments with these guys,” Landry said. He compared the trip to past team outings that led to playoff success for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and the Cleveland Browns that same year.
