Jesús Sesma accepte le défi du PVEM pour 2030 à Mexico

Jesús Sesma, dirigeant du PVEM à Mexico, a annoncé lundi qu'il acceptait le défi de se présenter au poste de chef du gouvernement en 2030. Cette annonce a été faite lors du lancement du projet « Guardianes Verdes », mobilisant 35 000 partisans en vue des élections de 2027. Le parti concourra sans alliance dans la capitale.

Jesús Sesma, coordinateur du groupe parlementaire du Partido Verde Ecologista de México (PVEM) au Congrès local de Mexico, s'est rendu lundi au Jardín Pushkin, dans le quartier de Roma, pour le lancement des « Guardianes Verdes ». Ce projet regroupe les 35 000 premiers partisans dans le cadre de la stratégie du parti pour les élections de 2027 dans la capitale.

Lors de l'événement, Sesma a déclaré : « J'accepte le défi pour 2030, personne ne recule ici, le Parti vert grandit ici, le Parti vert gagnera ». Il a promu des initiatives sur l'environnement et le bien-être animal au sein du Congrès de la capitale.

Le PVEM a choisi de se présenter sans coalition à Mexico, rompant avec les alliances précédentes, notamment avec Morena. Cette stratégie vise à tester sa force électorale de manière indépendante, bien que des spécialistes avertissent des risques face à des partis plus établis.

Sesma vise à capitaliser sur le vote écologiste en matière de durabilité et de politiques urbaines, se positionnant comme le candidat virtuel au poste de chef du gouvernement.
