Kehlani sort son cinquième album éponyme : collaborations et liste des titres

L'artiste R&B Kehlani a sorti son cinquième album studio éponyme le 24 avril via Atlantic Records, suite à une annonce faite le mois dernier en marge de leur 31e anniversaire. S'appuyant sur des succès récents comme 'Frozen' et 'Folded', récompensé aux Grammy Awards, le projet réunit Lil Wayne, Pusha T, Cardi B, Brandy, Usher, et bien d'autres.

Marquant le cinquième projet longue durée de Kehlani après quatre mixtapes étalées sur 17 ans — et succédant directement à Crash (2024) et Blue Water Road (2022) — l'album revient aux racines du R&B old-school, connu pour des succès comme 'Nights Like This', 'Toxic' et 'After Hours'.

Le titre 'Frozen', sorti l'été dernier, a cumulé plus de 800 millions de streams dans le monde, donnant naissance à des remixes avec Toni Braxton, JoJo, Mario et Ne-Yo.

L'album s'ouvre sur 'Another Luva' en featuring avec Lil Wayne, évoquant l'ambiance du milieu des années 2000, et inclut 'No Such Thing' avec Pusha T et Malice du groupe Clipse. Parmi les titres marquants figurent des collaborations avec Brandy, Usher, Missy Elliott, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Big Sean et Cardi B sur 'Pocket'.
