Linköping parts ways with forward William Proos

Linköping HC has terminated its contract with forward William Proos ahead of the next season. The move follows limited playing time for the player in the SHL.

William Proos joined Linköping ahead of the 2025/26 season after time with Almtuna. He appeared in four SHL games during the regular season before being loaned back to Almtuna, where he recorded ten points in 42 regular-season games and two playoff contests.

Sportchef Broc Little confirmed the parting of ways. "Vi vill tacka William för hans tid i Linköping Hockey Club och önska honom stort lycka till framöver," Little said on the club's website.

Proos had one year remaining on his contract. Reports indicate his career will continue with Östersund.
