The accident occurred at 4:45 PM on Sunday when two cars left Ystadvägen near Elisedal, a road leading into Malmö. According to witness reports, at least one of the cars was traveling at high speed. A man in his 20s was transported to the hospital by ambulance, but his injury status remains unclear.
Following the incident, the right lane towards Malmö was closed. Initial reports suggest the cars went off the road, while other information indicates a collision. Police have detained the suspected man, who is now charged with aggravated drunk driving, aggravated unauthorized driving, recklessness in traffic, drug offense for personal use, brand counterfeiting via a fake license plate on the vehicle, and using a deregistered vehicle.
