Olivier Faure fixe le 9 juillet comme date butoir pour la primaire à gauche

Le premier secrétaire du Parti socialiste, Olivier Faure, a annoncé que les militants socialistes voteront au plus tard le 9 juillet sur la stratégie pour la présidentielle de 2027, notamment la question d’une primaire.

Partisan d’une compétition pour dégager un candidat unique de la gauche non insoumise, Olivier Faure reste déterminé à poser une stratégie qui réunit de Ruffin à Glucksmann, selon son entourage. Les militants socialistes seront appelés à trancher sur cette question d’ici le 9 juillet.

À ce stade, Marine Tondelier, Clémentine Autain, François Ruffin et Benjamin Lucas-Lundy se sont portés candidats à une primaire programmée le 11 octobre. Raphaël Glucksmann n’y a pas participé.

Au sein du PS, cette voie ne fait pas consensus. Boris Vallaud, chef des députés socialistes, a quitté la direction du parti, jugeant le processus contre-productif sans Glucksmann.

Une piste évoquée pour sortir de l’impasse serait une double primaire : la première entre membres du PS et Glucksmann, le vainqueur affrontant ensuite le reste de la gauche démocratique et écologique.
