Boris Vallaud quitte la direction du parti socialiste

Le chef des députés socialistes Boris Vallaud et les 24 membres de son courant ont annoncé vendredi leur départ de la direction du Parti socialiste, isolant davantage le premier secrétaire Olivier Faure.

Les tensions couvaient depuis plusieurs mois entre Vallaud et Faure, notamment sur la stratégie pour la présidentielle de 2027. Vallaud, arrivé troisième au congrès du PS il y a un an, avait alors soutenu Faure face à Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol. Il s’oppose désormais à l’idée d’une primaire de la gauche prônée par le premier secrétaire.

Dans une lettre de cinq pages adressée à Faure et obtenue par l’AFP, le sénateur Alexandre Ouizille a dénoncé une « collégialité bâclée » et une « brutalisation du fonctionnement » des instances du parti. Il accuse Faure de décider seul et de tenir à distance ses partenaires.

La direction du PS a répondu que rien ne la ferait dévier de son objectif de construire une solution de rassemblement capable de gagner en 2027. Jean-Luc Mélenchon a raillé sur LCI cette nouvelle division au sein du parti.
