Boris Vallaud lascia la direzione del Partito Socialista

Il capogruppo socialista Boris Vallaud e i 24 membri della sua fazione hanno annunciato venerdì il loro addio alla direzione del Partito Socialista, isolando ulteriormente il primo segretario Olivier Faure.

Le tensioni tra Vallaud e Faure covavano da mesi, in particolare riguardo alla strategia per le elezioni presidenziali del 2027. Vallaud, arrivato terzo al congresso del PS un anno fa, aveva sostenuto Faure contro Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol. Ora si oppone alle primarie di sinistra sostenute dal primo segretario.

In una lettera di cinque pagine inviata a Faure e ottenuta dall'AFP, il senatore Alexandre Ouizille ha denunciato una «collegialità approssimativa» e una «brutalizzazione del funzionamento» degli organismi del partito. Accusa Faure di decidere da solo e di mettere da parte i suoi partner.

La direzione del PS ha risposto che nulla la distoglierà dal costruire una soluzione di coalizione credibile capace di vincere nel 2027. Jean-Luc Mélenchon ha deriso la nuova divisione interna al partito su LCI.
