Security guards in Lund now wear body cameras

Since the beginning of summer, security guards in central Lund have been wearing body cameras. The tool is activated with the press of a button and clearly shows when recording is underway.

Security guard Stefan Andreasson says the cameras create security in threatening situations.

"People who have gotten drunk know that it will not be so good to threaten and harass us," he says.

The cameras are worn by guards patrolling the central parts of the city. A display lights up to show that recording is ongoing.
