Le Sénat entame le débat sur la réforme électorale de Milei

Le Sénat argentin a entamé ce mercredi l'examen de la réforme électorale portée par le gouvernement de Javier Milei. La réunion de la Commission des affaires constitutionnelles a mis en lumière les tensions entre le parti au pouvoir et ses alliés concernant la gestion du projet Ficha Limpia.

La séance informative s'est déroulée dans la salle Arturo Illia du Palais législatif, sous la présidence du sénateur Agustín Coto. María Luz Alegría Landívar, conseillère au ministère de l'Intérieur, a défendu le projet de loi complet de 78 articles qui comprend la suppression des primaires PASO, des changements relatifs aux partis politiques et l'intégration du Ficha Limpia.

Landívar a noté qu'il existe 44 partis nationaux et 710 partis de district autorisés, et a proposé de relever les exigences d'affiliation, comme à Buenos Aires où elles passeraient de 4 000 à environ 10 000 affiliés. Elle a également fait valoir que les PASO représentent entre 30 % et 40 % des coûts électoraux.

Les alliés dialoguistes cherchent à traiter le Ficha Limpia séparément, car il bénéficie d'un consensus plus large, tandis que le gouvernement préfère maintenir le paquet législatif dans son ensemble. Le débat reste ouvert à de nouvelles discussions et Coto a demandé une suspension de séance.
