Södertälje signs Tarun Fizer and Joni Ikonen

Södertälje SK has added forward Tarun Fizer and center Joni Ikonen to its roster ahead of the upcoming HockeyAllsvenskan season.

The club won the competition for the Canadian forward Fizer, who joins from Florida Everblades in the ECHL. He recorded 41 points in 56 games last season and has prior AHL experience. Joni Ikonen fills the center position. Goaltending and defense are already set, and forward lines are close to finalized. Suggested forward combinations include Carter Souch with Nolan Stevens and Fizer, plus Daniel Muzito-Bagenda alongside Ikonen and AJ Vanderbeck. Additional signings remain possible from the SHL loan market. Fizer’s arrival follows a supporter fundraising effort that added about four million kronor to the budget.
