Le Sud-Coréen Kwon Soon-Woo se qualifie pour Wimbledon après son service militaire

Le joueur de tennis sud-coréen Kwon Soon-Woo a décroché une place pour les qualifications de Wimbledon après avoir obtenu de solides résultats dans des tournois Challenger. Âgé de 28 ans, il concilie sa carrière professionnelle avec son service militaire obligatoire, entamé en décembre 2024.

Kwon Soon-Woo a remporté trois titres Challenger cette année à Phan Thiet, Gwangju et Wuxi. Ces victoires lui ont permis de réintégrer le top 200 du classement et de se qualifier pour les éliminatoires de Wimbledon 2026. Il continue de s'entraîner avec le Corps athlétique des forces armées coréennes tout en effectuant ses 18 mois de service militaire obligatoire.
