Il tennista sudcoreano Kwon Soon-Woo si è assicurato un posto nelle qualificazioni di Wimbledon grazie agli ottimi risultati ottenuti nei tornei Challenger. Il ventottenne sta conciliando la sua carriera sportiva con il servizio militare obbligatorio, iniziato nel dicembre 2024.

Quest'anno Kwon Soon-Woo ha vinto tre titoli Challenger a Phan Thiet, Gwangju e Wuxi. Grazie a queste vittorie, è rientrato tra i primi 200 giocatori della classifica mondiale, ottenendo l'accesso alle qualificazioni di Wimbledon 2026. Continua ad allenarsi con il Korea Armed Forces Athletic Corps mentre adempie ai suoi 18 mesi di obbligo di leva.
