ASTRO member Cha Eunwoo, whose real name is Lee Dong Min, featured in recent social media posts from a Ministry of National Defense Traditional Music Band concert while serving his military service.
Haegeum player Shin Sua shared photos on her social media account captioned “With Staff Sergeant Lee Dong Min.” The images captured Cha Eunwoo in his military band uniform with a short haircut and a bulked-up physique during the event and backstage.
Shin Sua, a longtime fan of the idol since her first year of high school, described the performance as an honor. She wrote that it was “truly an honor and a joy to share the stage with him as if by fate” and called the opportunity “a dream come true.”
Cha Eunwoo enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the Army in July last year and continues to serve in the military band. He is scheduled to be discharged in January next year.
