Les heures d'écoute ont augmenté de 60 % d'une année sur l'autre. L'entreprise a également révélé des projets pour de nouvelles formules d'abonnement plus tard cette année.

Spotify a indiqué que le nombre total d'heures d'écoute de livres audio a augmenté de 60 % par rapport à l'année précédente. Plus d'un million d'utilisateurs ont souscrit au service complémentaire Audiobooks+, qui génère 100 millions de dollars de revenus annualisés. Ces abonnés offrent une valeur vie trois fois supérieure à celle des utilisateurs standards qui écoutent des livres audio, a rapporté l'entreprise.

Spotify has partnered with Peloton to bring on-demand workout classes and curated fitness content to its app. Premium subscribers can access thousands of ad-free classes in English, Spanish and German, while all users get playlists from wellness creators. The new fitness category became available on Monday.
