Team Nanum defeated Team Dream 10-2 in the final Korea Baseball Organization All-Star Game at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul on Saturday.
Hanwha Eagles catcher Heo In-seo collected four hits and drove in a run for Team Nanum. He became the first Eagles catcher to start an All-Star Game in 36 years and earned the game MVP award with 13 of 26 media votes on his 23rd birthday.
Team Nanum featured players from the LG Twins, Kia Tigers, NC Dinos, Kiwoom Heroes and Hanwha Eagles. Team Dream included representatives from the Samsung Lions, Doosan Bears, KT Wiz, SSG Landers and Lotte Giants. Team Nanum outhit its opponent 22-9.
The game drew a sellout crowd of 23,750 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. The venue opened in 1982 during the KBO's inaugural season and will be torn down after this season, with a domed ballpark scheduled to open in 2032.
