Teenager detained on suspicion of two arsons

A teenager from Dalarna has been detained on suspicion of two fires, including one that completely destroyed a villa in Ornäs, Borlänge, in mid-July.

The teenager, who had previously been requested detained but was released, is now in custody. The suspicions concern the fire in Ornäs as well as a fire discovered in the Stocksholm area a few days earlier.

A detention request that became known on Thursday morning showed that the teenager is suspected of both incidents, according to information from Dala-Demokraten.

The events took place in mid-July in the Borlänge area.
