Un accident de camion fait 11 morts à Mirzapur

Un camion incontrôlé a percuté une Bolero, une voiture et un conteneur tard le 22 avril à Mirzapur, dans l'Uttar Pradesh, faisant 11 morts. Six passagers de la Bolero ont péri brûlés vifs après le déclenchement d'un incendie. La commissaire de police Aparna Rajat Kaushik a confirmé le bilan des victimes.

Un accident de la route s'est produit tard mercredi soir dans le district de Mirzapur lorsqu'un camion a percuté par l'arrière une Bolero, une voiture et un conteneur. Un violent incendie s'est déclaré dans la Bolero, tuant six occupants brûlés vifs.

La commissaire de police Aparna Rajat Kaushik s'est rendue sur les lieux, a évalué la situation et a officiellement confirmé 11 décès. Elle a déclaré que le camion avait perdu le contrôle, la négligence possible du chauffeur étant une cause probable.

Le conducteur du camion et plusieurs autres personnes ont été blessés et hospitalisés. Les corps des victimes ont été envoyés pour une autopsie et les familles ont été informées. Les pompiers ont éteint l'incendie.

La police reste sur place et travaille au rétablissement de la circulation. Selon PTI, une enquête approfondie sur les causes de l'accident est en cours.
