Two new bridges planned over Österdalälven near Oxberg

Trafikverket plans to replace the current combined road and railway bridge over Österdalälven at Oxberg in Mora with two separate bridges. The new bridges are scheduled for completion in autumn 2028 according to the project. The solution aims to create a modern and sustainable separation of traffic.

The existing bridge will be replaced by one road bridge and one railway bridge to separate the types of traffic. According to Trafikverket's planning, this provides the area with modern infrastructure.

The two bridges are expected to be ready during autumn 2028. Trafikverket announced the plans in a press release.

The project focuses on sustainability and safety through the separation of road and rail traffic across the river.
