Deux étudiants interpellés pour avoir lancé des cocktails Molotov près de l'Instituto Nacional

Les Carabineros ont arrêté deux étudiants accusés d'avoir lancé des engins incendiaires de type cocktail Molotov dans le centre-ville de Santiago. L'incident a eu lieu à l'intersection de l'Alameda Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins et d'Arturo Prat, près de l'Instituto Nacional. L'avenue Alameda en direction est a été temporairement fermée en raison de l'intervention policière.

Des sources policières ont rapporté que les individus ont manipulé et lancé des cocktails Molotov sur la voie publique, représentant un risque élevé pour les passants et les agents présents. Transporte Informa a annoncé sur son compte X la fermeture de l'avenue Alameda en direction est depuis l'Avenida Manuel Rodríguez.

Les personnes arrêtées sont un élève du Liceo Juan Gómez Catalán d'Estación Central et un élève de terminale (4º medio) de l'Instituto Nacional. Tous deux ont été arrêtés pour le crime de lancer et de manipuler des engins incendiaires.

Les Carabineros ont saisi des sweats à capuche, deux pantalons de survêtement noirs, des gants, deux cagoules, un polo et une bouteille contenant un liquide apparemment inflammable avec une mèche, compatible avec la fabrication d'engins incendiaires.

Les étudiants ont fait l'objet d'un deuxième examen de leur détention au cours de la journée du 31 mars.
