Västerås signs Fabian Hellström from Troja-Ljungby

VIK Västerås has confirmed the signing of 22-year-old forward Fabian Hellström from Troja-Ljungby. The player has agreed to a one-year contract for the upcoming season.

Hellström played his first HockeyAllsvenskan season last year with Troja-Ljungby. He recorded two goals and three assists in 34 regular-season games. He was also loaned to Mörrum in Hockeyettan for eight matches.

In the qualifiers against Västerås, Hellström tallied four points in five games. He cited a positive impression from discussions with the club and the atmosphere at ABB Arena.

VIK assistant sports chief Stefan Holmgren praised the forward's work ethic and offensive creativity. The move bolsters Västerås ahead of the new campaign.
