Android XR glasses set to support both Android and iOS

Google announced that its upcoming Android XR intelligent eyewear will work with iOS devices as well as Android phones. The glasses are scheduled to launch this fall following a reveal at the company's developer conference.

The devices result from partnerships between Google, Samsung, Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. They provide audio assistance through earpieces and display information directly on the lenses using built-in screens. A key highlight is their ability to connect with both Android and Apple smartphones without requiring a specific operating system.
