Updates accompany the announcement. Final Cut Pro gains Transcript Search for dialogue-based footage searches, Montage Maker to auto-edit dynamic videos from key moments, and Beat Detection using AI to align edits with music rhythms. Logic Pro adds a Synth Player to its AI Session Players and Chord ID for generating progressions from audio or MIDI. Pixelmator Pro, acquired by Apple in late 2024, debuts on iPad with Apple Pencil support, featuring new tools and filters.

Productivity apps receive OpenAI-powered enhancements: image upscaling and generation from text, plus a Keynote tool to create slide decks from outlines.
