Catholic schools back June 28 Trillion Peso March

The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines has announced support for a prayer rally scheduled for June 28 at the EDSA People Power Monument.

The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines expressed its backing on Wednesday for the event organized by the Inter-Religious Leaders Council for National Transformation and the White Ribbon Movement.

The group called the rally the White Ribbon Movement March and urged member schools in Metro Manila to gather at the EDSA Shrine and People Power Monument. Provincial schools were invited to hold simultaneous events on their campuses.

Bishop Colin Bagaforo, lead convenor of the council, said the gathering seeks accountability over corruption issues. The association stated it stands against systemic corruption, political dynasties, and election fraud.
