Building on its recent GameSpot Game of the Year accolade and 13 nominations, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 set a new record at The Game Awards 2025 with nine wins—the most by any game in a single year, surpassing The Last of Us Part II's seven in 2020. Honors included Game of the Year, Best Narrative, Best Score and Music (by Lorien Testard), Best Art Direction, Best Game Direction, Best RPG, Best Independent Game, Best Debut Indie Game, and Best Performance for Jennifer English as Maelle.

  • Content Additions: 12+ new costumes/weapons, Endless Tower boss variations, "Old Key" quest for journals.
  • Features: Photo mode, Lumina Sets (50 loadouts), abandon battle, HUD scaling (80-120%), FSR 4, Picto/Lumina filters, controller remapping.
