Crew Clothing has become the Official Performance Apparel Partner for iPadel, the UK's leading padel league operator. The deal, announced on February 16, involves supplying staff apparel for iPadel's Winter and Summer Leagues. This partnership aligns with padel's rapid growth in the UK, where over 400,000 people actively play the sport.
The agreement positions the British lifestyle and sportswear brand Crew Clothing within one of the fastest-growing participation sports in the country. Under the partnership, Crew will provide technical performance wear from its Sport collection, featuring breathable, sweat-wicking fabrics and ergonomic construction designed for high-intensity movement.
Padel's popularity in the UK has surged, with more than 400,000 active participants according to LTA Padel data for 2025. An additional 8.2 million Britons have expressed interest in trying the sport, making the UK one of Europe's fastest-growing padel markets. The sport's expansion has been supported by dedicated indoor and canopied facilities, as well as integration with existing tennis club infrastructure.
For apparel brands, padel offers a strategic opportunity in a market that is expanding quickly but remains early-stage, allowing for targeted positioning. Crew Clothing, founded in 1993 and inspired by the coastal heritage of Salcombe, Devon, has built a reputation in British sporting traditions. The brand, known for its rugby shirts and navy gilets, recently introduced the Crew Sport line and maintains partnerships in polo, tennis, golf, and rowing.
iPadel, as the UK's leading independent padel league operator and consultancy, manages nationwide Winter and Summer Leagues. It collaborates with dedicated padel centers and tennis clubs to provide competitive opportunities for players of all levels, while fostering connections among equipment brands, facility operators, and participants to build a sustainable padel community across the British Isles.
