Drake first to top Billboard 200 with three albums

Drake has become the first artist to occupy the top three positions on the Billboard 200 chart simultaneously. His albums ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR debuted at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on the chart dated May 30. The releases followed a May 15 drop of the three projects.

The Canadian rapper achieved the milestone with ICEMAN at No. 1 on 463,000 equivalent album units, HABIBTI at No. 2 on 114,000 units and MAID OF HONOUR at No. 3 on 110,000 units. All three albums were released on May 15, with ICEMAN teased for months prior while the other two were announced during a May 14 livestream. Billboard data shows this marks the first time one act has held the top three spots since the chart began publishing on a regular weekly basis in March 1956.
