ECA to host mid-year review to strengthen joint delivery and UN@80 reforms

The Economic Commission for Africa is scheduled to hold its Second Quarter Accountability and Programme Performance Review Meeting from June 17 to 19 in Addis Ababa.

The meeting will take place at the United Nations Conference Centre. It carries the theme “Enhancing Joint Delivery for Improved Results after UN@80 Reforms: A Mid-Year Review.”

Participants will include ECA leadership, programme managers and partners. They are set to assess progress on the Commission’s 2026 Annual Business Plan targets.

Discussions will cover four thematic areas: the African Continental Free Trade Area, Regional Value Chains, Technology and Digital Transformation, and Macroeconomic Policy and Planning. Resource mobilisation and implementation issues will also be examined.
