Ethiopian Half Marathon winners announced in Addis Ababa

Athlete Getachew Masresha and Athlete Meselesh Alemayehu won the 19th Ethiopian Half Marathon held in Addis Ababa.

The race started and finished at Meskel Square in Addis Ababa with 638 athletes taking part, including 455 men and 183 women. In the men's category, Athlete Balaylign Teshager from Ethio Electric finished second while Athlete Belay Tilahun from Addis Ababa Police placed third. The event aimed to select Ethiopian representatives for the half marathon competition in Copenhagen, Denmark, and to develop new talent. Prizes including money, medals and cups were awarded to the top six finishers.
