FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has put forward a proposal to repeal Article 20.10 of the organization's statutes. The article currently restricts the president to a maximum of three terms, or 12 years total, whether consecutive or not. Ben Sulayem is serving his second term after running unopposed in last year's election.
