Florida mother charged with breaking infant's bones

A 23-year-old woman in Florida has been charged with first-degree child abuse after authorities determined she caused at least 10 fractures to her infant over the child's first year of life.

Hunter Deeann Miller was arrested on Tuesday and booked into the Putnam County Jail. She posted a $50,000 bond and awaits further court proceedings, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said. The investigation, which involved agencies across three counties, began after Miller took the child to an emergency room in St. Johns County in November with a suspected broken arm from an incident at a Palm Coast home on Thanksgiving.
