Jambi DPRD chair supports special committee on subsidized fuel and gas

Jambi provincial DPRD chairman M. Hafiz Fattah received a public protest regarding subsidized fuel and gas distribution on Monday, 27 July 2026.

M. Hafiz Fattah along with Deputy Chair II Faizal Riza and Commission II member Mahdan met with protesters who raised concerns over alleged misuse of subsidized fuel barcodes.

Hafiz said he had contacted SPBU managers and reported the issue to Polda Jambi. He pledged to oversee proper subsidy distribution and supported forming a special committee if Commission II agreed.

The Jambi Provincial DPRD has also informed BPH Migas of the matters, including proposals to remove the barcode system and address LPG 3 kilogram sales above the maximum retail price.
