Juhani Tyrväinen open to Luleå Hockey return depending on form

Juhani Tyrväinen visited Luleå this week and indicated he could consider ending his career with the club. The 35-year-old Finnish forward left Luleå Hockey two years ago to join Köln in Germany.

Tyrväinen participated in team activities during his midsummer stay. He said he still feels connected to the club but noted that Köln needs him more at present.

The player decided to remain with Köln for the upcoming season to reunite with former Luleå coach Thomas Berglund. He confirmed Luleå had shown interest in his return.

Tyrväinen said any future move back would depend on his physical condition. He added he does not want to return simply for the sake of it.
