Juliano Cazarré ignores backlash and travels to Chapada dos Veadeiros

Actor Juliano Cazarré has ignored backlash over his announced event O Farol e a Forja by traveling with his family to Chapada dos Veadeiros. The July event in São Paulo aims to strengthen male identity through talks on leadership and Christian values. Actresses including Marjorie Estiano and Julia Lemmertz criticized its conservative and misogynistic nature.

Juliano Cazarré announced the event O Farol e a Forja in response to what he calls the "weakening of masculinity" in society. Scheduled for July in São Paulo, it promotes leadership, entrepreneurship, and Christian values, billed by the actor as "Brazil's largest men's gathering".

The announcement drew swift criticism, particularly from fellow actresses. Marjorie Estiano, Julia Lemmertz, and Betty Gofman pointed to its conservative and misogynistic slant. On social media, Cazarré anticipated backlash, stating: “There was a moment when he could stay silent. He could back down. He could ignore.”

Instead of responding, the actor headed to Alto Paraíso de Goiás in Chapada dos Veadeiros, an ecotourism spot near Brasília. With his wife, journalist and biologist Letícia Cazarré, and their six children, he shared photos of serene moments, including hikes, waterfalls, and himself holding a drink while winking at the camera.

Cazarré continued his usual social media posts without directly addressing the controversies.
