Kalonzo urges equal education access for all Kenyan children

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has urged the government to guarantee every child equal access to education regardless of financial background. He spoke during the launch of Lizah Foundation International in Nairobi on Saturday.

Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper Party, addressed attendees at the launch of Lizah Foundation International in Nairobi. He highlighted the struggles faced by students from poor families who drop out due to lack of fees and support.

“It is disheartening to see so many students struggling to continue their education because of financial hardships,” he said. Musyoka called on the government to allocate more resources to education as a basic right.

Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi assured that development projects would be distributed fairly across all regions without tribal or political bias. Health Principal Secretary Ouma Oluga announced collaboration between the ministry and the foundation to promote health awareness.

The foundation, led by former journalist Lizah Mutuku, focuses on supporting underprivileged children, environmental projects, and empowering girls. Other leaders including Ezekiel Mutua attended the event.
