She expects to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday next week. A support boat follows where she can rest and eat. She hopes that residents of Luleå will cheer her to the quay.
Kangastalo-Hoda wants to inspire other women. She says all dreams are possible to realize and that it is never too late. She switched careers in 2023 after 20 years as a nurse and swam along Siikajoki last summer.
