A man in his 40s died when a car collided head-on with a regional bus on road 17 east of Landskrona on Friday evening.
The crash occurred around 9 pm. According to police, a regional bus operated by Nobina on behalf of Skånetrafiken collided head-on with a car. The car caught fire after the impact and its driver died.
Seven people from the bus were taken to hospital by ambulance. A man in his 60s suffered serious injuries while a boy aged 10-14, a woman in her 30s and a man in his 40s had minor injuries. The condition of three others remains unclear.
The road was closed after the accident. Police are investigating the cause of the collision and no one is suspected of a crime. Relatives of the deceased have been notified.
