A man in his 30s died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on county road 819 south of Lessebo on Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. when the rider drove off the road into the forest. The man was taken by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries.
Police announced at 10 p.m. that the man had died. Relatives have been notified.
Police will investigate the incident.
