A man in his 60s was airlifted to hospital after crashing his moped on road 507 outside Degerfors on Wednesday.
The man drove into a ditch during an oncoming pass with his moped. A passerby noticed the incident and alerted emergency services at 6:40 p.m.
Rescue workers found the man unconscious at the scene. Police revived him before further transport.
"We got him going on site. He was then taken away by ambulance helicopter," said Maths Thörn, duty officer with the police.
The man's injuries otherwise remain unclear according to reports.
