Ein Mann im Alter von 30 bis 39 Jahren ist am Dienstagabend bei einem Alleinunfall mit einem Motorrad auf der Kreisstraße 819 südlich von Lessebo ums Leben gekommen.
Der Unfall ereignete sich gegen 18 Uhr, als der Fahrer von der Straße abkam und in den Wald fuhr. Der Mann wurde mit schweren Verletzungen per Rettungswagen ins Krankenhaus gebracht.
Die Polizei gab um 22 Uhr bekannt, dass der Mann verstorben sei. Die Angehörigen wurden benachrichtigt.
Die Polizei wird den Vorfall untersuchen.
