Her family’s attorney confirmed the news to the San Francisco Chronicle. Lucas edited the 1977 film directed by her then-husband George Lucas and earned an Oscar nomination for American Graffiti in 1973. She also edited Return of the Jedi along with several Martin Scorsese films including Taxi Driver.
