The report cited a reduction in default risk, sustained fiscal surpluses, slowing inflation and rising foreign investment in energy and mining. The agency highlighted improved access to international financing.

Secretary of Economic Policy José Luis Daza noted that the three major rating agencies are now aligned at an equivalent B- rating for the first time in more than a decade. Economy Minister Luis Caputo celebrated the move on social media.
